When we asked parents and kids what they wanted, we heard the same thing over and over: parents love (and prefer) plain water, but they're also excited about a lightly sweetened drink that feels fun and is made just for kids.

So we created flavored drinks the Wave Kids way: fun, a bit of sweetness, and made with ingredients parents can feel good about.

The parents we talked to preferred recognizable ingredients over lab-created sweetness. As parents ourselves, we agreed.

Whole fruit contains fiber and nutrients that help your body process its natural sugars. Juice often contains much of the sugar without the fiber.

We use organic coconut water powder and trace ocean-sourced minerals.

A lot of kids' drinks rely on fruit juice concentrates to create sweetness and a cleaner-looking label. But once the fiber is removed, you're still left with a drink that can contain a surprising amount of sugar.

We took a different path.

Instead of building our drinks around concentrated juice, we started with water, added a touch of organic agave, and focused on creating a drink kids love. If your kid wants an orange, hand them an orange.

Wave Kids is designed just for kids, with custom 8.4oz cans, kid-drawn art, and color-changing ink to make hydration fun. These features cost more to produce, especially for a new brand, but our goal is that they will help kids choose water over sugary drinks.

Aluminum cans are recyclable and eco-friendly, and popping the top feels way more fun (and grown-up!) than a typical straw-in-box. We wanted Wave Kids to be both sustainable and exciting.
